500 Yard Rifle shoot
October 25th starting at 9 A.M.
The Royal Gorge Gun & Pistol Club hosted a 500 Yard rifle shoot on October 25th. The open sight winners where: 1st. JohnVuletich 189 out of 200 with 5xs, 2nd. Mark Bunch 188/200 3xs, 3rd. Clifton Goines 186/200 4xs. The scoped portion was a tight race, with both first and second place having the same scores of 132 out of 150. The tie breaker would have been the X count, but both had 1 X each! Finally the winner was determine with how many 10s, with the winner having 4 and the second place having 3. The scoped winners where: 1st. Mark Bunch 132/150 1x and four 10s, 2nd. Bill Schwiem 132/150 1x and three 10s, 3rd.Clifton Goines 122/150.
